What drives you?

Are you coming into the new week hoping to enact change? 🏁Maybe a new routine, better time management, better dietary choices, or keeping up with exercise?

It’s always great to start positive change in our daily lives. Many times we want to change things in a huge way and go from 0 to 60 in 2 seconds. 🏎💨

That mindset is great! But we do need to set realistic goals. Going from little to no exercise to saying we will exercise an hour every day this week, might set us up for failure. Start with something manageable that we can achieve. Then ramp up. 🏋🏾‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

Better dietary choices starting today? 🍲Awesome! But remember foods we are not accustomed to (such as high fiber foods like much of our produce🥦) might make us feel a bit off throughout our day. Trying to swap out our food choices completely, might make us run for the foods that comfort us. Focus on making small changes, such as a different snack option or leaving out sugary drinks. Make sure to consume enough calories for your lifestyle to avoid that end of the day binge eating habit so many of us struggle with.

It’s easy to feel defeated when we want to enact change and end up skipping a day at the gym or not hitting our caloric goals for the day.

Making small changes and setting realistic goals will help us achieve more in the longterm✅. Start small, make baby gains, and feel successful daily.

And if we do fall off, we can always try again tomorrow. It’s a learning process, not a do or die mission.

As always Cualli 🙋🏽‍♀️ is here to help make these changes easier for you and to tailor the experience to your lifestyle.
