Find something that makes you smile. 😁

Physical activity is a huge part of what keeps us healthy. Studies have shown that it not only plays a role in our nutritional health but it also aids in stress relief and disease prevention. (PMID: 24822048)

Guidelines are as low as 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week (PMID: 29789470) That’s about 22 minutes per day.

Finding what you enjoy doing is key. I live in a strange world where I like to pick up heavy things repeatedly then go fight peopleπŸ₯‹πŸ‹πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ. For whatever reason this is what I enjoy and I keep going back.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m sore and tired most daysπŸ₯΅ but I enjoy these activities. I also know this is benefiting me in the long run. 😌

Do you have to join a gym? No. A class? No. But try things out. You never know what you might enjoy. 🏸πŸ₯ŠπŸ›ΌπŸ€Όβ€β™€οΈπŸŒπŸ½πŸ§˜πŸ½πŸŠπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸš£πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ§—πŸ½πŸš΄πŸ½ A good thing that came out of this β€œpanderiaβ€πŸ¦  is the availability of online classes and the mass availability of resources for at home workouts. You can easily find something that fits your lifestyle using these options.

Even just having a friend to take walks with and catch up on the chismeπŸ—£, can be your physical activity for the day.

It might take a few tries to find what suits you and your routine, but invest in your health and commit to exercising. You truly are taking your own health into your hands and improving the quality and longevity of your life.
